I had a very stressful transaction mainly due to the sellers solicitors and although the solicitor I ended up completing with was great, I was passed around a little and some team members had no empathy. I was frustrated by delays which combined with our sellers solicitors delays ended us loosing our first buyers and caused us to have to take a lower off on our property

I found the online system very helpful and easy to manage. I got updates and they were easy to contact. There was one quiet spell but when I chased for an update I got one the same day. Overall I am very happy with the process. I waited until I had exchanged before reviewing so I can comment on the whole process.

Terrible communication, glacially slow processing of case, confusing and potentially misleading business and pricing structure. Contacting the conveyancer directly was needlessly stressful and time-consuming as was everything about the process. Me and my brother fell out because of the dire quality of service provided. I would caution everyone to avoid using this service.

My Home Move use a solid online portal for managing documentation. Our conveyancer asked how we'd prefer to communicate and we've generally communicated by email, based on my request. The process has been straightforward to follow and our conveyancer was responsive. However, if you are less confident in your understanding of the process and need more active/compassionate support, you may not appreciate this service. As someone who was confident in my understanding of the process and likes clear, precise, relevant communications, this service was perfect for me. Only criticism is the vague itemisation of the quotes and additional costs that may come up. The additional costs are still reasonable, when compared with other services and such, but you may get a nasty shock if you dont allow for wiggle room in your budgeting.
