Level 3 RICS Survey requested and confirmed as needed due to a significant extension on the property we are purchasing. Aaron was available and happy to talk through the situation and need for speed on getting the survey and report complete as part of our purchase. Due to external factors out of Aaron's control the survey was delayed by a week. Sticking to the facts of our experience; 1. Aaron called 20 minutes after arrival time to say he had completed the survey inspection. Report would be pending but talked through main visuals around state of repair. 2. Report due 7 business days after inspection, report arrived 10pm (day 11) incomplete. 3. Information readily available online and found by me directly was suggested as not something he could locate and was the reason for delay. Despite this being provided, no details around this information got included in the report. 4. Report included details incorrectly established. E.g No chimney by design, despite this being on every house in the street and in fact was removed as part of the extension. 5. A call was provided and given to talk through findings and given estimated costs around the defects found. These were not included in the report. Offered a follow up call to talk through these - not required as had already discussed on call before report sent. It is a shame as talk ahead of the report Aaron seemed like a great fit. He was recommended via reallymoving. Would we use again, highly unlikely. Would we recommend, No.
