Q1 2025 conveyancing costs updates:

• The cost of conveyancing increased by 11.9% between Q1 2024 and Q1 2025.
• Home movers (those buying and selling) now pay a record high of £2,434.
• Costs rose by 2.2% in Q1 2025 compared to the previous quarter.
• When adjusted for inflation, conveyancing costs grew by 1.6% in the last quarter and 8.8% year-on-year.
• Ten out of twelve UK regions saw quarterly price increases, with the highest in the North East (+6.5%).
